Hi all,

I wonder about community reaction to the proposal by Edison Schools to build their national headquarters [+ charter school + museum] on the lot on 5th Ave. between 109 / 110 Sts. Views?

I had not heard that. That section of East Harlem is
part of Museum Mile. Its not too far from where the
Museum of the City of New York or El Museo Del Barrio.
What I have heard is that an African American museum wishes
to move to the area you wrote about.

I will reserve judgement on the Edison school idea until
I can get further info. What do you think about the idea?
