I lived on Lexington Avenue
Hola Amigos!!
I used to live at 1625 Lexington Avenue on 103rd St.--on the hill. Later I moved to the Bronx. Is there anyone out there who have been my neighbor?? I lived there from 1950 - 1963. My Papi owned a little grocery store. His name was Rogelio and my name was Nilsa Munoz. |

Nilsa,
First, welcome to our online community. The hill is still there and I can't say that I know you, but you probably know a few friends of mine. Did you know Auggie, Janet and Hector Figueroa. Auggie was a friend of mine through the St. Cecilia's Daycamp. Let me know and again, Welcome to our Forum

Hola Jose!!
Thank you for your quick reply!! I'm not sure I remember their names, but it was nice of you to answer!! My cousin Manny Mendez used to also live in the Barrio. BTW Yo hablo espaņol muy bien!! I have been a Spanish teacher for the past 23 years and I am currently studing for my Administrative Credentials. Not bad for a little girl from Harlem!! I have 2 wonderful daughters--both in the university. I would love to keep in touch!! Hasta pronto, Nilsa |

Do you still live in the Bronx? Where do you teach (you dont'have to answer any of these).
Sorry for the late response. I must be getting older than I think. Yes, let's keep in touch.

I lived at 22 E. 103rd. Right across from Patrick Henry. My Grandfather owned a colmado nieves on 103rd. I then lived at 1728 Lexington between 116th and 117th. I lived on a great hill on 103rd.
