Clinton near deal in Harlem Park
June 22, 2004
NEW YORK - Former President Clinton is close to signing a deal for about 20,000 square feet of office space in a retail, office and hotel complex planned for Park Avenue and 125th Street in East Harlem, a source said Monday.
The space at Harlem Park, set to open at the end of 2005, will house Clinton's personal offices as well as those of his foundation and those overseeing the creation of his library in Little Rock, Ark., the source said.
For the past three years, Clinton has leased smaller office space on West 125th Street in Harlem.
The new $190 million Harlem Park complex will feature a 238-room Marriott Courtyard Hotel. Its investors include Houston Rockets basketball star Steve Francis.
