I just missed ya. I graduated in 1971. Did you go on to Catholic High School and if so which one? I went on to Power Memorial Academy.

Who did you have for teachers?

St. Cecilia School

Jose,

When I graduated from St. Cecilias School I went on to Washington Irving High School. I was there for two years then I got real ill with asthma and had to drop out of school. After many years I decided to take my GED at Boys Harbor at 104th street and did achieve my diploma. As far as the teachers at St. Cecilias I could remember very little names like, sister Ann Marie, bro. Prior, father O'Conner and father Skelly. My sister was in school with me also, in St. Cecilias and married one of my classmates and now have two grown teenagers. My sister and her husband are still very much in love. Do you know why they close down the school and when? Did they ever try to hit anyone with a black strap. I witnessed one student get hit with it. But that was then.
