Recently, Steven Kessner sold most of his East harlem portfolio. Critics say that they drove him out. However, he made a brilliant move; selling out at the peak of the market. Kessner will be missed. Long before it was fashionable, Steven Kessner was rehabilitating broken down buildings in East Harlem. His philanthropic efforts are legendary; sponsoring many ball teams for children and almost singlehandedly building the Harlem RBI Field of Dreams.
Now he has found acreage in Sullivan County to build a summer camp for disadvantaged children. Steven Kessner will continue benefitting the children of East Harlem long after he is gone.
